Mark Mittelberg is an international speaker and the bestselling author of nearly 30 books and published pieces, focusing in the areas of apologetics, evangelism, and evangelistic leadership. His most recent is the all-new book, Contagious Faith: Discover Your Natural

Style for Sharing Jesus with Others, and the 6-week video training course by the same name. Prior to that he was the primary author of the Becoming a Contagious Christian training course (with Lee Strobel). This course was translated into more than 20 languages

and helped about 2,000,000 people around the world share Christ in natural ways. He also wrote the leadership-oriented, Becoming a Contagious Church, which presents an innovative blueprint for church-based evangelism.

Mark’s other books include The Unexpected Adventure and The Case for Christ Daily Moment of Truth devotional (both with Lee Strobel); The Questions Christians Hope No One Will Ask (With Answers), winner of the Retailers Choice Award; Confident Faith,

winner of Outreach Magazine's Apologetics Book of the Year; and his evangelistic give-away book, The Reason Why Faith Makes Sense, foreword by Ken Blanchard. Mark’s published pieces have sold a total of some three million copies.

Mark was the original evangelism director at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago and then served as Executive Vice President of the Willow Creek Association, serving more than 10,000 churches from over 100 denominations from all around the world.

Mark also helped shape and launch the original Global Leadership Summit (GLS) events. He has served as the primary evangelism trainer for the Luis Palau Association for more than 25 years, equipping thousands of believers in regional training gatherings prior to their

CityFest events around the country, and he’s been a speaker for Summit Ministries for the last 14 years, teaching thousands of students at their worldview conferences. Mark was also an editorial consultant and periodic guest for Lee Strobel’s television show, Faith Under

Fire. He has appeared on numerous other national television and radio programs.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in business, Mark earned an MA in Philosophy of Religion, graduating magna cum laude from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. In addition, he received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from

Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mark and Heidi live near Denver, Colorado, and are the parents of Emma Jean and Matthew, both of whom serve in full-time ministry roles.
